Day Three: A VP Double-Header!

So this whole staying up late at night in a fit of blogging excitement and then still waking up early because of the time zone difference is probably going to catch up with us, isn’t it? And then it’s Daylight Savings tonight? Oof. Tomorrow might not be pretty. Today, however, should be awesome. We’ve got tickets for both VP shows (of course we do, right?) and are looking forward to meeting up with a few readers after each show. After doing it up at the Covey last night (and completely picking the worst. meet-up. spot. ever… we’re so sorry), we decided to switch locations for both of today’s performances. We’ve already emailed that spot the people who said they wanted to say hi. But since we now know the area and feel more comfortable with the whole thing, we figured we would just post on here where we’ll be in case anyone felt weird about emailing (it’s cool, we totally get it — this whole thing is kind of awkward all the way around… that’s just how we roll). So, if anyone wants to pop by for some blog points, we’ll be at the base of the big staircase on the south side of the Covey (parking lot side) after each performance. If you beat us out there, just hang tight for a few minutes and we’ll be out there as soon as we can get through the crowd. 🙂

Update #1:

So when we published this post just now, we realized that it is actually our 100th post!  Yay!  Who knew we could stretch this out so long?  To celebrate, we’ll give 100 TMtP celebration blog points to anyone who comments on this post.

Update #2:

Sorry we haven’t given y’all an update since the matinee.  It was great, we’ll have more thoughts tonight.  We met some more great readers, including a certain conglomeration of nine guys. 😉  And we just had a fantastic dinner.  Perhaps also with a certain conglomeration of nine guys.  Best worst idea for a vacation ever.

Congratulations! I really wish I could be there to see VP in action, but Provo is quite a ways from Belgium 😀

We’re so excited that you two are out here this weekend! We promise to put on a great show for you today BUT…you have to hang around long enough after the shows for the guys in Vocal Point to actually say Hi. I think a group picture with all of Vocal Point and Troi and Crusher would make the ultimate post! See you then!

  4. Kris says:

    Yay! Happy 100th!!

@Robert and all the VPers, great job last night! 🙂

  5. Sarnic Dirchi says:

Do you know how weird it is to step out of the readership shadows to actually make a comment?
(It's extremely weird. But thrilling!) 🙂
    Yay for my first blog comment ever! ^^;;

I had a fantabularly awesome time venturing into BYU territory to meet you guys! Thanks for being willing to meet with your readers….and for the extra 15K points! 🙂

Oops…I meant to comment on the post before this… Oh well. ^^; Congrats on the 100th post!
And the meeting spot last night wasn’t that bad. 🙂 I felt a little like a secret agent spy person when I was wandering around in the dark looking to meet up with you guys. So. much. Fun! 😀

I am sooo excited for y’all! I can’t wait to hear all about the rest of your adventures. I wish we could have been there.
Have extra fun for those of us who can’t be there. 🙂

Blog points? Did someone say blog points?
Loving the blog and happy 100th to you. It puts a smile on my face every day.
(Since I am not able to attend the concerts please pretend that some random passerby is me.)

  10. Tigereem says:

Happy 100th post! YAY! 100 posts of awesomeness. And I agree with Silver. A random passerby person is actually secretly me. 😉 Happy Utah travels! 😀

  11. Tanner Street says:

Happy you made it safe, glad you are having a good time. This is my “comment” to get my first TMtP points.

  12. Tigereem says:

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait right there. Y’all just had dinner with all 9 VP guys? :O WOW! 😀 I’m feeling just a little McEnvious. 😉
